Welcome and Introductions

Conrad Thiede called to order the November meeting at exactly 6:00 PM.† Self-introductions of all in attendance followed.

Cincinnati Police Department / Downtown Services Unit Report

The CPD was represented by Sgt. Jeff Gramke (DSU). The following information was provided via his report:
Lt. Mike Neville has been promoted to Captain and will be assigned to Communications.
Suspect arrested at M&N Market (Ninth & Elm).
Credit card used from woman's purse who was robbed in Ogden Alley.
No news to report on Weaver Alley incident.
Theft from autos (TFA) holding steady; not much activity.

Comments from membership: Question re: TFAs on Clay St. (between Melindy and Fourteenth) due to insufficient lighting. Board member will follow up with attendee with more information on OTR Safety Sector.

ADOPTION OF MINUTES

The November 2007 meeting minutes were adopted. Paul Westendorf made a motion to accept the minutes, Hugh Koon seconded the motion. All in favor.

NEW BUSINESS

Special Guest Presenters:
SPECIAL PRESENTATION: DRC presented Caroline Janssen with $1250 check to support the Children's Learning Center
RESOLUTION VOTE: Rothenberg School Resolution vote. Casey Gilmore made a motion to accept the resolution, seconded by Brian Porter. No objections, motion passed unanimously.
SPECIAL GUEST: Dan Dell of the newly-opened Buddakan Restaurant @ 713 Vine St., features special late night menu for downtown residents
SPECIAL GUESTS: George Crawford and Dan Korman of the Gateway Quarter, DRC event in the Q on Thursday, December 13 from 6-9PM
SPECIAL GUEST: John Schneider, Cincinnati Streetcar: updated membership regarding some recent opposition to initiative, but optimistic it will ultimately pass City Council.
